The Story: The Herb Farm of Fall City Washington needed a solution to their business in integrating all facets of their business into a single database for Customer Support. Order entry needed to be streamlined for all departments as well as for financial reporting. With a transaction database of 100,000 plus entries per year other Accounting Systems bogged down and became too slow for data entry. Dynamic Network Accounting (DNA) solves the sheer data volume with its unique database design. No matter how much data you enter into DNA it does not slow done and it still process data as if it were the very first transaction ever entered. The Point of Sale terminals the Herb Farm had were cash registers. DNA integrates with Point of Sale terminals allowing for Real time transaction processing, thus each time a transaction is processed it is posted to the general ledger. In addition DNA does not limit the length of data entered into any fields, thus the Latin names of the plants in the nursery could be entered into inventory. The herb farm also needed to track sales over the course of several years to determine sales cycles and to market to past customers. DNA never purges your data. It retains your information forever. Thus you can look at original data transaction through out time. DNA also allows for customized screens that can be created independent of the systems source code.
