Underwater
Admiralty Sciences, Inc., was organized to promote the exploration,
identification, documentation and recovery of submerged cultural
resources. Underwater Admiralty Services, Inc., (UAS) provides
services, professional expertise and guidance to promote, preserve,
present and protect our marine environment with special emphasis on
submerged cultural resources and maritime heritage.
Our goal is to involve students of all levels, from grade school to
graduate level, in projects that will provide introductions and
technical education in undersea technologies. UAS promotes the study of
submerged cultural and marine environmental resources. UAS currently
has education projects underway, ranging from middle school programs on
local marine awareness - to instructions of advanced undersea
technology in Native American educational programs. We believe that the
combination of undersea technology with search, identification and
hands on preservation will make science and history truly come alive
for those who desire to work in, and experience, the Marine environment.
