Chuck Walters

"On June 9^th 2008 UAS received the resignation of Chuck Walters as a Director of UAS. Chuck is not totally leaving the organization but transitioning to a less time demanding role on the Board Of Advisors.

On behalf of the Board, and all members on the Advisory, we sincerely appreciate the 4 years of service Chuck has provided. He is a credit to this organization and we hope to see him active in matters where his expertise is required."

Other Projects

In May Bob, Mark, Chuck, Jeff and Jim attended the Pan Am employees reunion in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho where UAS had been invited to make a presentation about the project. The project was well received and several good interviews with 314 crew members were obtained. We all continue to be impressed by the close knit Pan Am family. The Boeing 314 project continues to generate significant interest and will continue to move forward as time allows.

The High School ROV Challenge continues to grow by leaps and bounds and is generating lots of interest, if not enough funding to match that interest. Susan continues to do a heroic job keeping it moving forward. There are some good potential funding sources on the horizon for more regional development as well as possible national opportunities.
