     Keep in mind that the prices on this page do not reflect freight charges or tax, or any options you might want. I enjoy handsome discounts on freight charges, that I pass on to my clients.

     I might add a word of wisdom here gleaned from my own and the experience of my customers: Always order a larger shelter than you think you need if you have the space and can afford it. Situations change and you may need more space later. Or you may move. Whatever. The length of the shelter can be added to, but the height and width cannot.

     So. Always check your measurements. Twice. Always check the freight charges. Yes, they do change. Not necessarily because the real freight companies change them, but because my discounts may change, if my volume goes up or down from month to month. So if you get a quote on the 15th of the month, and you wait till the 1st of the next month, check. Even the next week. Check.

     I sold a lot of shelters over time and the only complaints I ever get are "I waited too long," or "I ordered too small," or "I didn't check the freight rates on the day I ordered and they had changed."

  I represent several different shelter companies. Low priced, medium priced and high end commercial stuff. To give an example of the difference in these companies' products and their pricing, I offer the following comparison:
 

     As you can see from the weights, there are some significant differences in these shelters. Generally speaking, the Economy Model is the low end residential shelter. The Medium Quality Model is a great deal heavier and sturdier and not a great deal more expensive.

     The above examples do not reflect freight, taxes (if any), or options. In our Economy Model, the manufacturer charges extra for double zipper front door and anchor kit, while the Commercial Model does not provide end panels at the listed price. They are available however as options.

     Our normal delivery times average two to six weeks. We represent three different manufacturers, however, and the months of September through December are extremely busy months for all three manufacturers. If you wait until one of these months to order your shelter, be prepared for a very long wait for your shelter.

     These shelters are custom manufactured products, available by special order only. Delivery times are estimates only. Cancellations over delays in deliveries due to circumstances beyond our control, such as floods, freight company problems, earthquakes, etc., will not be accepted. If, in our judgement, we do decide to accept a cancellation, there will be a 30% restocking fee. Under no circumstances will shipping charges be refunded for any shelter which has already been delivered. Any order you place with us constitutes agreement to these terms.

     In all the time I've been selling shelters, I've never seen a used one put up for sale. I think that speaks to the satisfaction index of the original purchasers. We - the parent companies - sell these to the Air Force, Coast Guard, Exxon, Mobile, Texaco, Disney, Amtrak, etc. The oil companies take these all over the world and use them in extreme weather conditions. North Slope in Alaska. Siberia. Africa. Etc. I have a letter from the South Florida Medical Center stating they went through Hurricane Andrew with theirs, with winds of 145 mph and no damage except a bent rib from a 40 ft. Avocado tree falling on it. The cover was not even torn.
